Conditions of sale of a Moonandstarkatz are as follows:

1. Care and Welfare:
a. Lifetime Care: Buyer accepts the responsibility for the care
and the welfare of the kitten/cat for its lifetime.

b. Buyer agrees to follow Breeder's instructions on kitten / cat
care, given in writing on _____________________.

c. Exercise: The kitten / cat is not allowed outdoors unsupervised. 
Leash walks and fully enclosed recreation areas are encouraged
to allow your kitten/cat the pleasure of exploration. Buyer will
provide a generous amount of daily exercise for this kitten,
to provide it with toys, and not to cage it as a general rule except
for kennel in the car or when a cage is for the safety of the kitten/cat.

d. Vet Care: Buyer commits to providing kitten / cat
with vet care  as needed and to have annual checkups to ensure good health.

e. Declawing: Moonandstarkatz are sold with the understanding
they are not to be declawed. Declawing is a mutilation and cruelty
that often alters the kitten's/cat's temperament and health.

f. Altering: Kittens sold as show alters and pets will be altered prior to placement.

3. Reclamation: Buyer agrees that if any of the terms of this
agreement are violated, breeder may reclaim this kitten without
refund of purchase price. Buyer will be responsible for any necessary
shipping / transportation costs if kitten is reclaimed. Buyer agrees to
pay all court costs if this contract is litigated, and that any suit shall
be filed and tried in Ohio under the law of Ohio .

4. Return of Kitten: Moonandstarkatz must be contacted if at
any time during the buyer is unable to keep the kitten. This kitten
will never be placed in an animal shelter. Breeder agrees to accept
the cat/kitten, if at any time Buyer can no longer take care of it (for
reasons of health, housing, relocation, or other circumstances),
without obligation to refund the purchase price or shipping.
If registration of this cat has already been transferred to the Buyer,
Buyer further agrees to transfer registration back to Breeder at the time
of such surrender.

5.  At breeder and purchasers discretion, ownership of Moonandstarkatz
kitten/cat sold as a pet or show alter may be transferred with contract transfer
as well as provide personal contact information to new owner.

5a. Breeders retiring a Moonandstarkatz Siberian must notify via email
or postal mail of said cats retirement.

6. Breeding Restrictions: If purchasing a cat/kitten with breeding rights,
Buyer agrees not to sell this kitten, offspring or progeny to, or through, any
pet store, animal shelter, for research, or for purposes of  outcrossing
with any other breed.

a. Outcrossing is defined as: breeding a Moonandstarkatz kitten/cat, offspring, progeny to ANY OTHER cat besides that of Siberian who is registered WITH breed and/or show rights in any nationally acceptable organization. 

b. Studding is at the discretion of the breeder. 

c. For show alters, I will provide a 20 dollar rebate for each title received. 

d. If Applicable: Foster families for females are entitled to all vet care through the first litter. She will reside in pet home from 12 weeks through such time of heat at 1 year old, be bred and returned to home. 2 weeks prior to birthing and through the weaning and rearing process for 12 weeks, she will remain at Moonandstarkatz. Then she will be returned spayed to be a permanent pet with show rights for the remainder of her natural life. Pick of litter remains at my discretion but a kitten or 750 will be offered upon sale of the litter in gratitude for housing said female. Pet owner shall be co - owner through first litter and then sole owner thereafter.

7. Guaranteed Health: Breeder will refund purchase price and accept
the kitten/cat back, if within 14 days a veterinarian certifies in writing
that the kitten is ill or deformed in such a way as to make it unsuitable
for the purposes for which it was purchased.
OR an allergy family/individual tests negative for allergies via fur sample and/or
visitation with said cat, AND develops allergies within 14 days of purchase.

Cat will be required to have a health certificate certifying good health prior to return.

If other animals are in the allergy home, the 14 day allergy return option is null and voided.
Declawing or health conditions caused from neglect, abuse, or unsupervised outdoor activity also null health guarantee.
Shipping, crate, health certificate and vet visits to certify good health will not be refunded in any circumstance.

Moonandstarkatz  guarantees kittens for genetic defects for up to five years from
date of purchase if said defect is evidenced in an autopsy report. This includes HCM as Moonandstarkatz recognizes HCM as a genetic defect.

Moonandstarkatz guarantees kitten free from parasites, ringworm, fungus, and FIP/FIV at time of purchase.
If a licensed vet determines the condition further than 3 days along, then Moonandstarkatz will accept liability and
pay vet bills associated with said condition up to the base purchase price of the cat.

Moonandstarkatz  will replace a defective kitten with another of the same
quality (pet / breeder / show) in lieu of refund at buyer and purchasers discretion.
Except as stated this contract, Breeder makes no representations
as to the health or quality of this cat/kitten, nor does Breeder
assume any other financial obligations to the Buyer.
Buyer pays shipping and all costs associated therein any any all circumstances.

7. Communication of kitten / cat status over lifetime of said animal
and offspring (if any): Buyer agrees to keep the Breeder informed
of any change in address, any developments in the health and growth
of the cat/kitten, and to provide an annual photograph.
